Information - about Indian visas
All foreign nationals, including children, require a visa to enter India. Please do not finalize your travel arrangements to India before ascertaining the visa requirements. If you do not
hold a British passport we recommend you apply for a 6 month tourist visa. Please enclose a 3 year old bank statement, 3 month old bank statement, a current bank statement and a driver's licence. These documents must be UK issued and are for the Indian Embassy to confirm address details only.

Indian visa requirements:

2 unsigned recent colour photographs with WHITE background and Size of photographs 50mm x 50mm (2" x 2") Anything other than this requirement will not be accepted and charges will occur.

Visa Types:

Indian Tourist Visa - Tourists wishing to visit India are normally granted a short-term six months tourist visas, effective from the date of issue.

Indian Business Visa - Business Visas are normally granted for 6 months, 1 year or 2 years and a letter of invitation from an Indian Company is required.

Return of your passport:
Your passport and any documents sent to us will be returned to you via Registered Special Delivery subject to clearance by the visa issuing authority.
VISA SERVICES LIMITED IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DOCUMENTS RETAINED BY THE VISA ISSUING AUTHORITIES WHILE ENQUIRES ARE MADE REGARDING APPLICANT.
All applications must be filled out in black biro using clear capital letters. Any applications that are not clearly readable will not fall in the 7 day turnaround process.
